Board Member: Dundee Age Concern(DAC)is a small, independent local charity which is seeking to consolidate and strengthen the ability of the directors to oversee the governance of the organisation. The charity has been in existence for 70 years.
DAC provide a day centre service for older people and, consequently, are keen to attract volunteers who may have knowledge and expertise in, amongst other skills, health and social care, buildings maintenance and finance administration. The day centre has recently registered as a support service with the Care Inspectorate and this factor, added to planned changes to organisational management arrangements, means that potential directors would be able to contribute to the continued development of a well-regarded charity in the city of Dundee.

We offer a service to vulnerable older people from across the city and Broughty Ferry area and hope to continue to gain the support of local businesses and trusts. Without such support we would be unable to offer our service. If you feel you can contribute please contact the Manager 01382-825624
