Day Centre Care Assistant - 24 Hours per Week - Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour

KEY PURPOSE OF POST  

1. To assist the team at the Fiveways centre provide a warm, safe and friendly environment for older people to live a full and rewarding life; some of whom may have mild to moderate forms of dementia and who have been assessed as requiring day support or are self- referrals. 

2. To work as part of a team, including staff and volunteers, to provide an appropriate outcome focused service. 

3. To assist older people in maintaining their independence through social integration and engagement in a programme of stimulating activities. 

4. To give appropriate support to colleagues where needed. 5. To adhere to and deliver the policies, values, and standards in place at Dundee Age Concern. 

6 Month Fixed Term Care Worker - Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour
